If you have experienced the loss of a partner to death and are interested in dating — but have no clue how — join us for this TWO-DAY WORKSHOP!
February 9th – 10th
Dating as a widow is confusing! If you’ve ever thought or asked yourself …
Am I ready to date?
How do I even start?
Am I abandoning my late husband?
I feel so guilty!
I’m afraid of intimacy with someone new.
When do I tell my date that I’m a widow?
Will someone new ever live up to my first love?
This is the workshop for you!
I started dating about six months after my husband Ian passed away and honestly, I’ve never felt more alone and confused!
(You can read about my experience here.)
I’ve made LOTS of mistakes along the way — and in turn, acquired many lessons.
Now, I want to share them with you.
I’ve teamed up with Relationship Coach and Therapist Michelle Mouhtis (bio below) to create Love After Loss. This 2-day workshop will serve as the safe & supportive space you’ve been looking for to discuss all of your questions & concerns around dating & widowhood with a community who understands.
Love After Loss will be broken into two parts:
Wednesday, Feb. 9
5pm – 6pm MST
Join us for a virtual happy hour event to kick-off the workshop, sip drinks (optional) and meet other widows and widowers entering the dating world. This casual social gathering will be a celebration of self-love and connection.
Thursday, Feb. 10
12pm – 2pm MST
The next day, we will dive into the world of love, loss and finding a “chapter two” romance. During the first half of the workshop, Michelle & Emily will breakdown common themes and issues that arise when exploring a new relationship while grieving. The second half is OPEN to Q&A, group coaching and sharing with others who understand.
Here’s a snapshot of some of the topics explored and potential shifts you’ll experience:
